Barclays MoonTrekker features two race distances, the Moonlit 26 and the Sunrise 40. Both races begin on Friday night on the 19th October, in Mui Wo, on Lantau Island. Both races finish at the same point (Cheung Sha Beach). The Sunrise 40 starts 2 hours before the Moonlit 26, at 9.00pm.

路線大概描述...... 由梅窩出發，沿鳳凰徑 / 越野單車徑去到芝麻灣。40km 組就繼續入芝麻灣半島，沿越野單車徑行一個圈，之後與 26km 組別會合，上南山，繼續沿鳳凰徑至伯公坳。伯公坳經地塘仔繞去寶蓮寺，經心經簡林上鳳凰山，然後落山返回伯公坳，沿馬路落至長沙終點。

上鳳凰山一段，好彩係由心經簡林上，比由伯公坳上稍為容易（特別係我冇六尺高，隻腳唔夠長上大石級），而最尾行馬路亦比較輕鬆。

比賽日子係 19-10-2012 夜晚，大部分人唔駛請假，我應該參加 26km 組，因為唔想用腳去行越野單車行嘅芝麻灣......
