由 2003年 Canon 300D 開始,已經一直用 Sandisk 的記憶卡,很多朋友/網上用家都對 Sandisk 有如潮的好評。
但最近小弟的 Sandisk 產品接連出事,先有 Extreme III 60m/s 16G CF card 常常壞,再有 ImageMate All-in-One USB3.0 card reader 和 MBA 2012 不太配合。
所以今日就打電話到代理商 Good-Century 詢問。

首先,CF卡可以郵寄,只要填清楚個人聯絡方法。
而 Card Reader 方面,雖然在 MBA 上用不了,但因為在 iMac 的 USB2.0 port 上沒問題,所以幾乎可以肯定是 firmware 或 chips 問題,打去問,他給了我一個9位數字的號碼:800-967-481
接電話的是一位操印度式英語的女仕,還好小弟咖喱吃得多,還算可以溝通到。
他們說之前未收到類似投訴,所以 Techinian 方面會找來一部 MBA 試一試,看看我說的問題會不會出現。
然後記下我的聯絡,及留下 reference number 1292214。

希望 Sandisk 可以快手解決小弟的問題,重建我對 Sandisk 多年來的信心!

Dear XXXXX,

Thank you again for calling SanDisk Technical Support. It is our goal to make sure you have all the resources you need to get the most from your product.

I understand that your ImageMate All-in-One USB 3.0 card reader is not detected properly on your Macbook Air. I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you.

To address the issue for you, I have tested a same card reader on a Macbook Air in our internal lab. Please kindly refer to the following test results:

- Test Platform: Macbook Air 2012, OS x 10.8.2
- Test Products: 2 different SanDisk CF cards and 2 different SanDisk SD cards
- Results: The card reader and the cards are being detected properly on the USB port 2.0 and USB port 3.0 of the Macbook Air without issues.

Concluding from the test results, I find that the issue you are facing with your card reader appears to be an isolated issue. I recommend trying the following troubleshooting steps and see if they help you resolve the issue:

Step 1. Try the solutions listed on the following Knowledge base article:

Troubleshooting a USB device on a Mac.

Step 2. Test your card on other card readers and see if your card work well without issues.

Step 3. Update the operating system of your Macbook Air to the latest version.

Please inform us if the above suggestions have helped resolve your issue. If not, please provide an answer to each question below.

- Does your card readers show up under USB of the System Profiler ? (refer to the step 4 on the above Knowledge base article)
- Does the card you used on the card reader work on other card readers without issues?
- Did the card reader work on your Macbook Pro before?
- Were there changes done to the computer lately?

If you have time, I encourage you to complete your product registration information.

- Date of purchase (MM/DD/YYYY)
- Sealed Retail Packaging (Yes/No)
- Physical Damage (Yes/No)

跟著他們的步驟做了,問題仍然發生,看來我還是要換一個新的了…

找另一部MBP試試。
