This place is not easy to get to!!
Fly to Istanbul.
Then take local flight to Izmur.
Then rent a car and drive.
There are a lot of really amazing things to see between Izmur and Bodrum.
Total distance for this road trip is about 300km.
You can vist the following:
- Selcuk: Basilica of St. John.Temple of Artemis (one of the old seven wonders of the world!)
- Ephesus: Ancient city of Ephesus
- Selcuk: Camlik Railway Museum (above photos)
- Priene
- Milet: Temple of Apollo
- Herakleia: Ancient city
- Euromos: Ruins
- Labranda
- Becin
- Iasos Fortress
- Castle of St. Peter
Trip ends at Bodrum. From Bodrum fly back to Istanbul.
